•   Humanitarian issues have been raised in the brutal killing of a pregnant elephant in a village near the Silent Valley forest in Kerala.  The incident is being strongly condemned  Politics has also intensified over the incident  The central government has also decided to take stern action over the incident  The Congress and the BJP have also started a new political frenzy over the issue  The BJP has targeted Kerala MP Rahul Gandhi

   Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar has reacted to the case  "Strong action will be taken against the culprits," he said  On Thursday, he said the central government had taken the elephant death case seriously  The culprits will be properly investigated and firm action will be taken  "It is not Indian culture to kill innocent animals by feeding them with explosives," he said.

  Wildlife has raised its voice against the illegal practice of keeping explosives inside the SOS fruit.  The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. military base.  Wildlife SOS has called for a crackdown on such crimes.  The organization has condemned the killing of a pregnant elephant in Mallapuram district of Kerala
